Clarence Kelly Mountain Soul
The Clarence Kelly homecoming festival offers three day's of some of
the finest bluegrass and mountain style music being played today. A
number of bluegrass artists will share the stage during this event
The Festival is held at the Kentucky Ridgerunners Fox Hunters
Association campground in the eastern part of Morgan County
Kentucky. It lies on top of one of the higher hills in the area. Known
as the Smith Creek Hill. This is a very scenic area where natural
beauty is in abundance
.
This is A family Oriented Festival where young and old alike can enjoy
music of our ancestors as well as well as modern day bluegrass music.
In addition the Bluegrass entertainment, a CORN HOLE tournament
is scheduled for Saturdays. Few Several acres have been developed
into this peaceful campground which offers campsites complete with
electric hook- ups and water and NEW bathrooms equipped with
showers.
CHILDREN will enjoy a playground. There is also a new addition to
the campground
